Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance and Analytics (PCA) has been the monitoring and diagnostics tool of choice for many users of Cisco Unified Communications, Cisco TelePresence®, and the underlying network infrastructure. But now Cisco has announced end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for PCA, with no replacement product on their roadmap.
Let’s take a deeper look at exactly what this means for current Cisco PCA users.
Exclusive Cisco Prime Migration Offer Now Available for a Limited Time
With Cisco Prime's imminent end of sale, IR has teamed up with Cisco as their Preferred Solution Partner to support your migration from Cisco Prime (PCA) to IR Collaborate. This exclusive offer is now available for a limited time.
What is Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance and Analytics?
For those who don’t know, Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance offers integrated monitoring and diagnostics for Cisco Unified Communications, Cisco TelePresence®, and the underlying network infrastructure. It expedites operator resolution of service quality issues before they affect end users and helps avoid system and service outages for a better quality of experience for the end user.
What is the timeline?
End-of sale for Prime Collaboration Assurance and Analytics (select SKUs) will take effect from 14 October 2021.
End-of-Support for the affected SKUs will follow on 31 October 2024.
After this date, all support services for the product will not be available and the product will become obsolete.
What does this mean for Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance and Analytics customers and prospects?
Current Cisco PCA customers can continue to use the solution until 31 October 2024. Beyond this date, they will need to migrate and utilize another collaboration management solution.
Cisco customers currently considering a collaboration, experience and performance management tool also need to look elsewhere to ensure they will have a tool with longevity.
